Rebate Information: Buying a new construction home in Piney Point Village

  • The up to 2% rebate does not apply to pre-owned homes.

  • The 2% rebate applies to new construction (homes, townhomes, lofts, condos, etc.) all over the state of Texas!

  • You must register with Citihomes Realty as your agent with the builder BEFORE signing a contract.

  • You are not eligible for this program if you have entered into a Buyer’s Representation Contract with another Realtor.

  • Your rebate is up to 2% of the sales price of the new construction home you purchase. In the event that the commission to the agent is less than the standard 3%, the rebate would be pro-rated to 2/3 of the received commission. The buyer is responsible for paying taxes on the rebate received.

  • The rebate is based on the base price of the new construction home purchase, which does not include lot premiums, upgrades and options. Under certain circumstances, when the base price is less than the selling price, the rebate will then be based on the amount used by the builder for purposes of the commission to the agent.  Any bonus paid by the homebuilder (outside the 3% commission) to the selling agent is not part of the rebate.

The rebate schedule is as follows;

$250,000.00 and up 2%
$150,000.00 to $249,999.99 1.5%
Up to $149,999.99 1%
  • Citihomes Realty must be listed on the purchase agreement and state a 3% a commission will be received upon closing and funding of the new home. For any reason if the buyer or the builder cancels (terminates) the purchase agreement then this rebate certificate becomes invalid.

  • Buyer must enter into a Buyers Representation agreement with Citihomes Realty to receive the rebate.  This must be signed prior to closing.  This can be emailed or faxed to you.

  • Customer acknowledges that Citihomes Realty is not a party to the real estate contract between the builder and the homebuyer, and makes no representation or warranty with respect to the home builder, or any other aspect of the real estate transaction between the homebuyer and the homebuilder. We are licensed real estate agents, we are here to assist you in locating your new home and will be happy to answer questions you may have regarding your new home purchase.

  • The rebate from Citihomes Realty is due only upon closing and funding of the new construction home purchased in the above listed development and terms and conditions stated herein have been met. Buyer is responsible for paying taxes on the rebate received unless the builder agrees to apply the rebate to the closing costs.

  • With this program you get a discount of 1%.  Instead of the usual 6%, the commission charge will be only 5% to list your house if you are not in the market for another home.
